Please come early for registration and to have time for personal silence and prayer before Mass. Masks are required to be worn at all times. Based on attendance trend and current diocesan directives, the church can accommodate a limited number of attendees with the mandatory physical distancing. If you have traveled outside the country in the last 14 days you will not be admitted.
Here are the Health Protocol measures to follow as we celebrate the Mass.
Alberta Health Services has restricted all social gatherings and has mandated that everyone remain in their seats. Pre-registration is required for all weekend Masses.
Those experiencing flu like symptoms are asked not to attend Mass in person. The Decree dispensing the Faithful from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass is still in effect.
Face masks must always be worn inside and outside the church. Face shields are not considered masks.
We will not offer a sign of peace to each other.
At the moment of distribution of Holy Communion, there will be one general response – AMEN – made by everyone together.
Ushers will direct you to proceed to the Communion line.
Wearing a mask, each individual will receive the Blessed Sacrament on the hand in silence and proceed to the stations to the right or left of the priest, release their mask, consume the Blessed Sacrament and secure their mask before leaving the station to return to their seats.
Physical distancing must be maintained at all times, inside and outside the church. Use the floor markers as a guide.
Once Mass is over, everyone is required to exit directly outdoors through the left side of the Narthex. Group gatherings or socializing before or after the Mass is not permitted inside or outside the church.
Please leave your kneeler down and vacate your seats within 5 minutes at the end of the Mass to allow your seat to be sanitized.
Every Mass requires several volunteers to conduct the wellness protocols. If you would like to assist us please contact email@example.com to learn more. THANK YOU to all our volunteers who selflessly give their time and talent so that attending Mass is safe for all.
